Events

Team Canada will compete in Group B at the TotalEnergies BWF Sudirman Cup Finals 2025, held in Xiamen, China, from April 27 to May 4. Canada is set to face teams from Korea, Chinese Taipei, and Czechia in the group stage.

Mike Butler, the National Team Head Coach, shared his thoughts on the upcoming competition:
"This is going to be a great experience for everyone representing Canada at one of the premier events in the world for badminton. Korea and Chinese Taipei are strong teams, and with only the top two countries advancing, we’ve got our work cut out for us. We’re bringing our top athletes to this event, so it’s a great chance for them to see how they stack up against some of the best in the world. China always puts on a top-notch event, and I’m excited to represent the PanAm region once again at this prestigious competition. Go Canada!"
