Badminton Canada Announces In-Person Coaching Clinics

Registration Now Open!

Badminton Canada is excited to announce that registration is now open for its upcoming in-person coaching clinics, which will be held at the Markham Pan Am Centre on February 22 and 23, 2025. This exclusive opportunity is aimed at individuals interested in improving their badminton coaching skills, with a special focus on the Competition Introduction Modules.

The two-day event will feature two key modules:

  • Badminton Regional Coach - Plan a Practice (Module 1) on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 5:30 PM to 9:30 pm.
  • Badminton Regional Coach - Technical/Tactical Basics (Module 3) on Sunday, February 23, 2025 - 8:30 am to 5 pm and includes a 30 min lunch break 

Both clinics are open to women, who will be prioritized during the registration process. Should spots remain available, other individuals will be able to register as well.

This initiative, a result of a collaboration between Badminton Canada, Government of Canada and Government of Ontario, offers coaching education to all interested participants at no cost, as the registration fees are fully covered by Badminton Canada.

  • Time: Saturday (Module 1) at 5:30pm to 9:30 pm and Sunday (Module 3) 8:30 am to 5 pm and includes a 30 min lunch break 
  • Venue: Markham Pan Am Centre
  • Cost: Free (registration fees covered by Badminton Canada)
  • Registration Deadline: February 16, 2025 (Limited spots available)

The event will feature materials available in English and Mandarin to support participants from diverse backgrounds.
