Badminton Canada
Badminton Canada is a not-for-profit national sports organization dedicated to the education and promotion of the sport of badminton throughout Canada. Badminton Canada has created this page to accept donations from donors that would like to contribute to the programs and activities that we provide. Donations of any size are appreciated and accepted. Badminton Canada provides support for athletes at all levels of play from children to seniors, from recreational players to international stars and from the community to the national scope.
Sport is a universal vessel that brings people of all backgrounds, nations and communities in a forum where they can learn skills that will benefit them in all aspects of their lives. Badminton is no exception to that rule.
Badminton Canada is a Registered Amateur Athletic Association, RAAA, as defined under the Income Tax Act, (Canada) and as such is able to issue tax receipts to those persons (individuals and corporations) making donations to the organization. The donor may then claim a tax credit for donations of $20 or more on filing of their income tax return in the amount of the donation. The Canada Customs and Revenue Agency requires that donors submit their tax donation receipts issued by the eligible charity or amateur athletic organization to validate the claim when filing their income tax return.
For your information, the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency tax registration number for badminton Canada is 10807 5029 RR 0001.
